Undergraduate Freshman Requirements
The University of Montevallo has waived the ACT/SAT test score requirement for admission and some scholarships for students.
In order to be admitted to the University of Montevallo for any term, incoming freshmen must meet:
- 3.0 cumulative GPA requirement
- Students with less than a 3.0 GPA will be evaluated on a case by case basis

Transfer Student Requirements

A cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better based on a 4.0 scale.

A transfer applicant must be a student in good standing.

A maximum of 64 semester hours (or 96 quarter hours) may be transferred for credit from either a community or junior college.
